Cleaning incubator post hatch

The instructions say water and a soft cloth, I've done that but it still STINKS

from hatching (had 16 hatch). Can I fumigate it with formalin? Need to set new eggs within a week for my father as he can't get the chicks he wants only eggs...

I use bleach diluted 1 part bleach to 10 parts of water. if you have a styrofoam incubator, this might kill the styrofoam. I spray it and let it sit 10 mins then wipe it down and air it out.
