Cleaning Incubator

What is the reason for cleaning the incubator with bleach? Can you use a antibacterial soap also? Or instead? What are the issues that arise if you don't clean properly? Just some questions I thought would be a good topic to discuss.

I think you should be careful using bleach. Couple reasons.

1- bleach leaves a residue
2- bleach is corrosive

Hi there. I have a Hova Bator, which is styrofoam, and I clean it with just dish soap and water, then I let it dry. Nothing too harsh.

Why not use Peroxide? It cleans too.
Would it leave a residue?
