Cleaning the poop

Hello-I don't really think this is the right forum but....
I am readying my omlet eglu coop for winter. It has pull out poop pans and removable plastic roosting bars. Lovely design.
Some droppings are hard white. Assuming it is extra calcium. But I don't know how to budge these droppings.
I can put everything in my utility sink. Any ideas what to soak them in to remove the deposits?

I normally do a deep clean in the spring. About a month or two before this cleaning I will make a solution of vinegar with orange peels in it. It has to sit in a dark place until it no longer smells like vinegar.
Vinegar also takes nicotine off of wood; I have done this many times when given free wood objects that I turn into a project.
I would try vinegar.

A tip that always worked for me is wet a paper towel so it is soaked, and lay it over the caked and dried poop. Come back in an hour and it wipes right off. My first job ever was cleaning bird cages -_-. One of the worst jobs I ever had. It would take me hours to clean some parrot breeder set ups as a teen, and owners would come out and try to nickle and dime me for things. We were basically a maid service that specialized in cage clean up. What I found was that anything comes off if you soak it in plain water long enough.

How was the Eglu during the winter time? Was it a royal pain to clean? I'm in NJ and am hesitant to get it for Jan/Feb cleanings.
