"Cleaning Turkeys"

I think we are around 60 lbs frozen. Big dent in the 28 lb bird. A couple more days of roast then its on to something to swap it up. Any good turkey recipes out there for leftovers?

Soup? Meat and bones in a pot of water, and any drippings. Add onions, carrots, celery, marjoram or poultry seasoning. SImmer until meat falls from bones. Removes bones and chop meat into bite size pieces. Add 1 cup brown rice, or white. YOu can add whatever else tickles your taste buds: onion salt or garlic salt or table salt, pepper, MORE Chopped onions. Make it your own.

Meat and gravy on toast. ALways tasted good as a kid.

I haven't made it : turkey tettrazini

I made some Turkey salad for sand witches so far the Tetrazini sounds good to.
I wander if you could make deviled Turkey

for sand witches.

Add some beef and onion, grind it up, add some ricotta... turkey and beef cannelloni! I need to make some soon...

I did manage to tie up the legs in the pic to keep it all in the pan. I think it will be Turkey pot pie next.Didn't expect a bird this big but he stayed in the elevated run during the first processing day and I did not want to crawl in and get him. Smart bird!
