Cleaning up babies

I have 8 chicks hatched (out of 16) with 3 more pipped. 3 of the ones that are hatched have egg goo and shell stuck to them, how do I clean it off?

Use a little warm water on a paper towel but don't keep it out too long or it will get cold.

Once it dries it will flake off, so you really don't have to do anything.

I've had chicks that were really sticky/goopy and when they dried the feathers were all stuck together and crusty. I used the warm water and paper towel to rub them all over, then back in the incubator to re-fluff. But I agree not to get keep them out of the incubator too long.
