clear nasal discharge / clogging nares

two of my chicks got a slight clear nasal discharge and its drying at the nares. not sure if there has been any sneezing. nothing with the eyes. otherwise theyre acting normal.

i had a pair of chicks do this before. i used warm water to clear off the dried discharge of those two. then they were fine.

any clue on whats going on ? im just curious.

How old are the chicks? What type of bedding do you have them on? Many times it will be nothing more than an allergy. Did it occure shortly after changing bedding? How is the ventilation? Build up of ammonia in the brooder area can also cause runny noses. Is there any other signs or symptoms?

theyre about two months old now and outside with the flock. no other S & S.
