SO I have 2 Columbian Wyandottes and 2 Production Reds.
I woke this am at 5, when down and had coffee and computer time, no lights on, it is dark out.
At about 5:45 or 5:50 I heard a small quiet peep and notice it is just about dawn, slight light just starting outside. Thought Oh I will go out and see if I can watch the hens wake and come outside form the kitchen window, secretly.

Well the 2 Wyandottes WERE out already and eating what was left over form last night. It wasn't much but I leave it incase they want to be loud because they are hungry.
They were Quiet and just pecking around being good girls.

6:15 rolls around and the 2 Reds come out. The other 2 Whites come over to say morning to them. They stretch, walk around. Good girls, nice and quiet ........... until 3 minutes later. One decides to say Morning a bit Louder ! I know who it is, fresh Pecan who thinks she is the protector of the group.
I am trying to picture the egg laying saound that Pecan will give when she starts to lay
:barnie
Good thing the Local Blue Birds are a bit noisy too ;)
