Indignant egg hatch

I heard of someone hatching a baby from an egg she got at Trader Joe's!
But those were still probably not your typical store eggs, trader Joe's is one of the only places you can get fertile eggs. But they can be up to one month old and washed. Which is not good. Just lucky. I have gotten eggs from a heath food store before, just be sure to ask if they are local fresh and fertile. I check the dates too.

I definitely wasn't suggesting anyone do it or even that it is a good idea. I was just adding my two cents!

Lockdown!
"washed them, fridge them, and may only have one rooster who is not any good."
Those eggs really need some luck!
I recall severals years ago the was a, call it a fad of BYC'ers hatching store bought fertilized eggs. It was kind of like who had the most successful hatch (a dozen) and the guessing what breed they were.
Our local TJ's does not carry fertilized eggs, I will have to check local health food stores.
