He have been hatching our own chicks, and today I noticed that one of our chicks may have a cleft beak. The sweetheart is only a week old, and hasn’t had any trouble eating or drinking. While it doesn’t look too bad as of now,I know that this condition can become more difficult to deal with as they grow older. Just curious as to what I should expect as she grows older / how to properly care for her. Thanks in advance!

I think you meant scissor beak or cross beak? And yes, it often will get worse as the bird grows. It can be genetic, an issue with malpositioning in the egg, or injury that caused it. I was going to give you the same link that @Eggcessive did above. Many birds can live a fairly normal life with a bit of support and special care. I would recommend weighing this one at regular intervals to make sure it's taking in enough food and water. Having the dishes for both food and water raised up to shoulder height makes it easier for them to feed and scoop. Depending on how severe it becomes, it may be very difficult to impossible for it to peck things from the ground.
