I have Squatch, HeiHei, Ophelia, Dolly, Ginger, Rotisserie, Spook, Wednesday, Mama Chicken, Blue Footed Booby, Pants, and Chicken Little. I probably forgot some... I have some that aren't named because I'm not sure if we are keeping them.

Chicken names? Oh boy, here I go...
My six hens are: Poppy ("Pops" for short), Marshmallow, Ran, Su, Yotsuba, and Najika.
My two cockerels are Zapraska and Lefty.
Possible chicken names for the future... I rather like Tibia. Maybe Melanin would be nice, and Dahlia. Also Cerulean, Azure, Midnight, Raspberry, Cathedral, Basilica, Platelet, Kashmir... so on.
Some name ideas came from last year when we had two Sapphire Gem pullets that needed names. So, what are some blue or blue-ish colors? Or just some nice names (like Cathedral and Basilica). We decided on Poppy and Lavender (sadly, the latter died after maybe a week), but I also remember the names Denim, Slate, Navy, Cerulean, Marine, Vein, Hyacinth, Aquamarine, Sapphire, Umi (Japanese for "ocean"), Asphyxia, Hypoxia, and maybe Zircon.
I still love Asphyxia and Hypoxia -- I know it's rather dark, but it just amuses me for some reason. What do you guys think? Too morbid (sorry if it is)?
I think that I might call a hen Minerva Louise. It's a lovely name from some lovely children's books.

I have a hen named Big Bertha(my brother's idea), and my RIRs are Ginger and Cinnamon and I call them the Spice Girls. My older roo is Rosester, we thought we were getting just hens and had named him Rose, and my new roo is Benedict, as in eggs benedict.

I want going to name ours but my wife wanted to - so they are got chicken recipe names, szechuan, sesame, ginger, Parmigiano, etc...

I did a survey once where two hundred people gave me names for chicks. Toeless, Chuckaloo, and PON PON were some of the funnier ones.
