I helped a teacher with a classroom hatch and we hatched 6 chicks of assorted breeds (EE, OE, RIR, Buff Orp, Black Australorp) from Meyer Hatchery. They are all healthy and growing - about a week and a half old now. I am looking to give away 3-4 of these chicks for free to someone who will meet up with me locally in the Cleveland, OH area. Please let me know if you're interested!

Here is a pic of them from the other day. All are very healthy. The Australorp is a bit small in the picture because it had a rough hatch and was dealing with splayed legs. Now it is walking normal, eating, and drinking. Its growth is now starting to catch up to the others and it will be just fine. Just had a rough entrance into this world lol

Hey I'm sorry but my original post was from back in December. These chicks already have homes now. I do occasionally let my broody hatch out some chicks though. Next time I need a home for those I'll probably post it on our Ohio state thread. Other people are occasionally offering chicks there too. So be on the lookout there.

Also, it's nice to run into another West Sider here! Welcome to BYC.
