:frowHello!!!
:welcomeWelcome to the BYC family!
:oldGlad you decided to join, plan, build & then get your birds & make the rest of us look bad...
:cafIf your in Wichita Falls area, you'd better prepare for coyotes. We lost one of our toy poodles to one when I was kid, not to mention chickens snatched up by them or hawks, etc. So coop security needs to be #1.
:popFeel free to include photos of your build along the way.

Hello there and welcome to BYC! :frow

Definitely do some reading in our learning center for all kinds of articles on all the aspects of keeping poultry... https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/

And if you still have questions about things, feel free to ask around the forums. Welcome to our roost! :)

:welcome I highly recommend White Rocks in your flock. They are dual purpose. They will lay a lot of eggs, and make you drool as their big butts walk by. :drool
I also recommend goats and turkeys. Nothing tastes better than fresh turkey for Thanksgiving! The boys can even walk the turkeys (and goats of course) on a leash!
