Climbing Critters

I am finishing my coop with T-11 rough wood siding. Has anyone experienced racoons or possoms being able to climb a vertical wall?

I doubt it, they need something coarse like tree bark. T-111 though rough dosen't give them enough depth to get a grip. If you paint or seal it it will be even more difficult for them. Squirrels may be able to scale the wall though.
