clip nails or not?? PICS ADDED... What do you think?

Yup. Definitely need a trim. Keep ddawn's post in mind. You need to keep a clotting agent on hand when you tackle those talons.

Some of mine need clipping every once in a while, too. Especially the birds with 5 toes, it's always the 5th that gets crazy long because they can't trim it down themselves. So I go outside with dog-nail-clippers and take it a little bit at a time. Birds with white nails are easier because you can kind of see the blood, so you know where to stop. Others can be tricky. I always have flour on hand, in a plastic baggy, so if I nip a vein by mistake, I just stick the toe in the plastic bag for a few minutes until it stops.
