Clipping Duck Wings?

Do Magpie Ducks wings need to be clipped? We have them in their duck house and tractor at night but during the day they free range in our yard. There is a 5-6 foot high wood fence around the yard. Are they able to fly over that high of a fence? Should I be clipping their wings?

Magpies aren't very good fliers..they can fly a few feet if frightened but not far and not high at all... a 6 foot fence will be more than sufficient!

They are making me nervous!

They run across the yard on their tip toes flapping like crazy. They only get a bit off the ground so far but they look like they are practicing an escape!!
