Clipping nails?

I have a silkie roo that has the 'thumb' toenail curled around into almost a complete O. Should I clip his nails? I'm worried it might cause problems growing back into the foot.

I would, just dont clip too much at first to avoid hitting an over grown blood supply, just clip it enough that it's not so odd anymore...and if it was me, i'd wait a few days then clip more again until it looks atleast semi normal...or clip it once then file the rest down so you can make sure you dont hit a blood supply (quick).
