I have a flock of 10 hens. They are wonderful. However, Toad, flies - high. I have raised the fence twice, but she just looks at that as her new challenge. So i guess i will resort to clipping her wings. Has anyone done this and would be willing to tell me how? Thanks

I just use some hand pruners, clip only one wing on each bird, if you clip both they'll still fly. cut the feathers back pretty far just dont get close to their body. Its real easy

I myself never take that much feather off! I take 1/2" to 3/4" from one wing (I always do their right wing). This is enuf to stop flight, no amount of clipping will ever stop jumping, and some can jump fairly high.
What are they after on the other side? Can you provide that?
Good luck
