Hi All.
My Silkies Serama hen has a poopy bum and I’ve tried washing it off without success.
It def isn’t the type you can pull off because it appears to be firmly fixed despite prolonged soaking and it also looks like part of her inside is outside!
A growth possibly.
I’ve had chickens for several years and have never seen a swollen/inside out cloaca.
She was very quiet two days ago but is now more active and eating.
Currently I’ve soaked it, dried her well and coated the poo with liquid paraffin to see if that will soften it
Any advice would be very welcome.
Thank you.
