Close a chapter on Friday 13th.. a new chapter begins...

Well yesterday I got my thirty day notice that my position was being eliminated after 14 years on the job. Last day is Friday, February 13th. I'm luckier than most that are losing jobs, I do get 18 weeks of severance at current pay. That puts me until mid June. I find it kinda difficult to be sad though, even though family and friends are like "OMG! What are you going to do!" Life goes on.. close this part of my life and go on to something new and different.

I hate when people say what are you going to do when they know darn well what you're gonna do: cry a little, pout some, mourn some, then dust yourself off and go get another D*** job!

What do they mean what are you gonna do? The best you can do, what else??
