Close call

i had a close call today with a BIG redtailed hawk.

i was sitting outside and looked at my girls and all of a sudden saw a huge hawk soaring above them. I ran as fast as i could to them and was waveing my arms to scare the hawk away.... luckily the girls were right next to the coop and went inside.... but i gotta say good thing these crows came and chased it away..... heu

Now that the hawk knows they r here will it come back tmmorow or something? what should i do to discourage them from coming in my yard

Don't provide the hawks or any other preditor a food source and they'll go look elsewhere.

Some hang used CD's in trees and around the run or free range area.

Do what you can to protect your chickens.
