Close off a crack, make bug proof

Hi, the crack I have goes all the way around the coop. I'm worried about bugs slipping through and getting to my chicks. Any suggestions are very welcome and appreciated.

x2. If by crack you mean the seam between the boards then you should be fine with silicone sealant. You could seal both the inside and outside if you want, but you could probably be fine with just the outside.

What do you have for ventilation? Chickens need ventilation. The chicks will eat bugs. I use 1/2 inch (size 2) hardware cloth for my ventilation openings. And don't seal anything unless it's letting water in.

Yup that's the crack/seam I'm talking about. Sounds great cause I have lots of silicone one less thing to buy I have some vent circle and and going to install a window that opens soon. The window that's existing also provides some air flow. Sounds great!!! So glad I joined my chicken friends. This board has helped my rookie building skills
