The second one looks like a barred Rock, the first one doesnt ring any bells, a mix maybe? Where did you got them?

To me, looks like it could be either one.

I probably shoulda gone with BR cause it just don't look right.
There iv'e coverd both bases

If you can show the comb above the beak better we would know.

Ok, final guess is, Barred Rock.
Not enough tail and too much contrast between the black and white to be a Dominique.

There, I'm done.

They are my friend's birds and I'm trying to help her.
Her 4-H group order a mix bag of chick and each of them got to take home 2 to raise.

That is a Barred Rock pullet chick, if that is a single comb I'm seeing in the pic-Doms have a rose comb.

The cockerel is a red or gold sexlink(hybrid)
