The rooster looks to be pretty good type back to standard Barnevelder. The colors are outstanding. Very nice work.

A lot of roos got culled before I kept him. He's huge (compared to my pure roos) and has a very wide back/breast with quite a lot of meat to him. The best part is that he's great with my kids I love his black laced "sister" she's a tank too and lays a nice medium brown yet glossy eggs. The hens and pullets from this project also are better layers than the pure barnevelders.

Another pic of the blue roo. He's still very young and his tail should get even better as he finishes maturing.

The black laced "sister" to the blue roo. She has great lacing and is a good layer although she has a tendancy towards going broody.
