I found one of my hens today has one of her eyes closed and there were two tiny white bugs on the lid crawling around. I checked the rest of her body and my other chickens and didn't see any more of the bugs. Is this an eye injury or bug related and what should I do for her? Thank you!
1) she's a year old Easter egger, weight is the same as always.
2) other than her vision being affected in the one eye she's acting normal
3) started today
4) no other birds with issues
5) the eye is the only issue that I found
6) no idea what happened
7) she's been eating and drinking
8) poop looks normal
9) I haven't treated it yet
10 ) I'll be treating at home
11) picture below
12) wooden coop, sand bedding, run is wood and wire with pine wood chip bedding and dirt

Okay, so after doing some reading, I definitely think it is some sort of mite. I have a few chickens that have saddle feather loss, the one with the eye issue is one of them. I didn't think it was related and assumed it was from over mating and separated the roosters a few weeks ago, but it doesn't seem to have improved and I'm thinking maybe the mites are why. Here is a picture of the chicken's back where the saddle feathers are missing. I still can't tell if there's anything there. The only creepy crawlies I saw was the two tiny white bugs on her eye which were roughly the size of an aphid. I had some permethrin spray in my shed from the fall so I sprayed the chickens and coop and run down. I ordered some elector psp and more permethrin. Can anyone tell if there are mites or something there?
