That means I need a new coop and run.

But I don’t really have a good spot.

Do geese need a pond/pool like ducks?
That is my main hesitation with ducks…
I feel like I would be tuckered out emptying and refilling the pool all the time…

Honestly it’s not too bad. You could also build an above ground pool and have a drain on it, I was going to do that for my ducks but haven’t gotten around to it.
I do free range my ducks all the time so that helps with the mud. I just have a kiddy pool and I refill it every or every other day. You can definitely get away with only giving them a pool a few times a week. Just make sure they always have deep enough water to submerge their nostrils.

Speaking of swimming. Replacing their pool is on my todo list

These are photos of Thursday while she's doing the behaviour I described earlier. She'll do this and after go back to not letting me near her.

Also looks like there's two girls so far
Two eggs in one day. The bigger one, which I assume is Sam's, carefully hidden in her nest. The smaller one unceremoniously laying in the middle of nowhere

No It's a old one from the dogs, was the only one I had on hand when I got them and I just haven't gotten around to replacing it
