Clover/Grass mix

So I found this a while back, and plan to over seed into my already growing field grass. But I need to know if this would be ok to feed chickens, like grown on a pallet and put into the run? I like that it grows year round, and uses minimal water. Any thoughts?

I'd like to know just what "Microclover" is. Some exotic Asian invasive? Why not just overseed with native clover and alfalfa? Your chix will love it!​
