Clubbed foot

One of the quail chicks that hatched is smaller than the others, and has a clubbed foot. I’ve taped and fixed chick toes before but never this severe. Is it fixable? The chick can get around just fine, just a tad wobbly.

You can try to put a "boot"on the feet to straighten them out. It should only take a day or so to straighten up.

Does the leg bend fine at the knee? If so yes it can be fixed with a boot. If The knee doesn’t work properly I found that straightening the toes didn’t fix the overall issue.

I can totally agree to @FloorCandy
I had a chick with a curled foot, taped it and all seemed fine, but as growing and getting heavier, the knee started to bend to the inside.

I had to cull it in the end ... which is always hard, but even harder when you spend time and much attention into a particular chick
