I also live in Oklahoma City, but since I have more than one acre am not experiencing the difficulties that you are. I sounds like you have some wonderful sustainability ideas and I hope that you will let us know more about them.
There is a thread on BYC that is comprised mainly of folks from Oklahoma, folks formerly from Oklahoma and folks who have connections to Oklahoma. It is in the "Where am I, Where are you" section and is the "Okies in the BYC" thread. Please consider coming over there and meeting some of us. There was a new poster there this morning who is also seeking to get the OKC ordinances changed.
