Hello! We just ordered our chickies, due 30 November. We have one Blue Ameraucana, one Cochin, one Blue Splash Maran, one Buff Orpington, two Easter Eggers on the way.

I am very nervous about preditors in our area, feeding them wrong, coop building, and messing this up. But we are reading tons, learning and listening to all things chicken. This should be fun!

You'll have a colorful egg basket once those girls start laying. In the meantime, enjoy them while they are little because they don't stay little long. Take lots of pictures (and share them with us of course)! They'll be here before you know it.
