My roo is doing fine! He crowed this morning--the first time in two days!

The girls are out, scratchin' for bugs. When I let them out this morning, the temp was 63 degrees. I'm so ready for fall after this mostly pleasant summer--and by that I mean we didn't have the 115-degree days we had last year, and we had plenty of rain! We might actually have four seasons this year!

Thanks! I love California. I've been to San Francisco and Long Beach, but not any further north. I'd love to travel up in the northern part of the state.
