Hi All! Marc here! Just bumped into your awesome community! Thanks in advance for welcoming me!
I have a chicken/dog run on the way iit is about 10'x7' and 6 foot tall in the middle. I am in process of building a coop out of pallets. I almost purchased a finished coop but it was much too pretty for me. I want to keep it rustic out back. I will have the coop outside of the run, connecting the two. Thinking I will have with 3-4 chickens within a few weeks. Had many ducks and chickens in our yard when I was a child. Whats that....... like 40 years ago? I do not remember much about taking care of them, so I will be learning along the way.

My goal is to get some me some ladies to lay eggs, no roosters. I eat eggs often and I'll trade them with neighbors for watching the dog when I am gone for random weekends. With the egg prices skyrocketing I think its a fair trade!
