Howdy everyone!! I am a new member and looking forward to sharing and learning, mostly learning!! First need to learn how this sight works.

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! You have certainly come to the right place for all the learning and chicken fun. The learning centre is a great place to start for lots of very informative articles. Here is the link ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center
Do you have chickens at the moment?

Be sure to ask any questions that you may have. Everyone here to help and very friendly.

Enjoy BYC :frow

Yes, I have 22 chickens I raised from a couple of days old that I got the third week of April. Some have started laying a couple weeks back. Still trying to sort out the roosters. I am having trouble deciding n one. I also have 8 Guinea fowl that I incubated, they are 19 weeks old.
Question #1. This is one Roo and a Hen up front in this picture, right?

You may be right. The hen doesn't have wattles - how old is she? She does have a very red comb, if she isn't laying or close to it, I would worry she is a slow emerging roo.

They are 3 and a half months. Her comb is not as red as the one I know is a Roo and smaller. There still pretty young. Here is a closer picture.
