Just built a chicken tractor and picked up a couple of ameraucanas. Haven't had chickens since I was a kid. Looking forward to eggs from pastured chickens. Ours will be allowed to roam during the day once they get used to the tractor. I mainly just wanted a portable coop that can be moved around for ease of cleaning. We are on 2.5 acres in SW florida. I have a fascination with genetics and have already posted a question in the breed forum for you genetic wizards. Glad to find a nice forum for discussion,
