Today I was cleaning out my 4.5 week olds' brooder and I heard one of them cluck (I think). Is this a normal time for them to cluck? My husband got very excited. I wanted to use it as a prod to get him to finish the coop but it was his birthday so I let it go... for now. Anyway, I am now wondering when chicks start to cluck instead of peep and chirp. I will miss their little lovey noises. I especially love their coos, will those stop completely? Sorry if this seems a little silly or sentimental but they just grow up so fast... (at least my husband has given me the okay to get some blue orpington chicks if I can find them, I never thought he'd give in to me getting more
).
