    My two hens aren't themselves.

One of them isn't laying and one is just sitting on the nest.

I have had clucky chooks before and this girl
Is characteristically clucky. She's making broody noises and only gets off the nest for a feed. There is no rooster.

For ten days there have been no eggs from her and I'm not sure if thats normal?

My other hen seems to have lost the feathers off her belly... It's been raining a lot so I'm not sure if its just the weather.

I'm very concerned. They are much loved pets and I really don't want anything to be wrong :(

Well if you have no rooster, then your hen being broody and sitting is not going anywhere. If you can have more chickens, why don't you try to find some fertile eggs for her.

Could your one hen be going through a molt ? How old are they ?

They are quite young. Started laying last year around August.

Possibly could be malting yes. We're coming out of hot weather now.
