Clucky Sound?

My newest sebrite hen is always going in and out of all the empty nests. She is also making very strange noises. when a hen lays an egg, they go "bok bok bok bok bogok!" mine is going "rrrrrr bok bok bok rrrrrr bok bok bok...". it sounds aggressive but it is the sweetest hen ever! none of my hens have made this sound before but judging from her behavior, and sitting in empty nest boxes, is she going broody?

She may be going broody, but it sounds like just a very early attempt. Once she stays in one box and starts hoarding eggs you'll know for sure. I have one Sebright/Sebrite who is just plain mean, always growling at someone!
