Yay little 18! So stinkin cute, can’t wait to see him fluffed out! What was his mix again? (Calling him a him after I read about his egg-standing antics in the other thread…sounds like a roo move! But hopefully a spunky pullet!)

Ah yes. His antics. I had all the eggs in neat little rows where I could see the fat end and the number. It is like that no longer. Then he decides to try and literally STAND on top of the eggs. Like dude!

So as you know we have 1 chick. Egg 16 pipped yesterday. It has no progress no chirping and no movement. I think it is dead. Egg 17 and egg 9 have pipped.

Egg 16 and 17 hatched while I was gone today! Egg 9 is rocking with no progress.

Egg 9 is now chick 9! Still wet though. The other three are in the brooder. Egg 20 has pipped!
