I have two hens that seem to be laying but I'm not finding eggs. We only have a few actively laying brown eggers right now the rest are Polish so we can tell their eggs. I'm not sure if they are eating eggs or hiding them. They do have free range time most afternoons. I haven't found eggs shells or caught them with yolk on their beaks but I'm still suspicious. Are there any other clues to an egg eater?

Sticky yellow substance in the nests or on other eggs could be a clue. I think they are hiding them

Agreed. If you don't find yolk in the nests or on their feathers, I'd start looking for floor eggs. My birds bury them sometimes, and I don't find them until weeks later.
