Yes GM is adding a shift to their plant in Canada Too.

Tax dollars well spent ???????? What do you think.

Are there any American made cars anymore? If there are then they should of made people buy American when they traded in their clunkers.

If Ford and GM would make a quality product that gets as good mileage............

Personally we are proud owners of 3 gas guzzling Fords.

I am not a fan of the clunker scheme, I think the last thing we need is any more schemes in this country. But without checking probably most of those are made in the US. Even if they all are it is just a speck of dust in our problems and what we need is financial responsibility NOT gimmicks.

We are still driving our clunker BTW. My thinking is if a family is driving a clunker they probably can't afford a car payment in these times. Sheeesh what was he thinking. What they managed to do is entice many into taking on more than they can handle, much like handing out the questionable home loans, and where did that get us.

i need to trade my 2002 ford 150 to get a truck with a full back seat.my truck gets 12 miles to the gallon. the new fords get 14. not much improvement when gas is 3-4 dollars a gallon. gmc want 10- 15 THOUSAND more for the same options on their vehichles as on mine. i checked. if another car maker could give me these same options and fuel economy yes i would buy from them. i think the buyout was a bad idea. businesses need to change with the times and i think they were not competitive enough. ford needs to make improvements too, i think it would be better to find another fuel alternative to help out instead of trading in older cars.

Thanks for saying that! I have a HC and love it, just rolled over 220,000 on it, and it needs some odd and end stuff done to it, but I get almost 40 miles to the gallon most of the time, and I would buy another one without blinking an eye!! Go Honda!!!

Looks to me that Honda and Toyota are the winners in this deal, with 3 each.

Nothing like Helping Oversea Companys. Why not we spent tax dollars to bail out Two here.
