How on earth is it "not a fair ?" An as far as R's putting people in charge, have you heard of all of O's CZARS? Over thirty of them. You mean to tell me out of all of the Govt programs that have been around that it is that hard to just name 3?

Okay, everybody take a deep breath.... now exhale.... hum quietly to yourself... and say....
"All politicians have an agenda that rarely helps the bulk of the population. Most, if not all, politicians live in such as way as to be completely out of touch with the common American. NONE OF THEM have our best interests at heart. As a group they are serving themselves."

Our forefathers are probably spinning in their graves at the way our country has been run for generations. If we are going to start throwing stones, we might as well deck both teams for they both stink.

I'd bet 90% of us on here have the same basic wants and needs. Clearly we have different opinions on how to achieve those goals. Just as clearly, neither side is going to convince the other on the proper way to do so. I do know that we need to hold our elected officials accountable for thier actions. No more passing legislation that pads their own pockets. No more passing legislation that they can opt out of. No more hiding things inside big bills that have nothing to do with the original bill. No more voting themselves pay increases. The whole system is corrupt no matter which side you are on. It's time we the people stop the irresponsible behavior.

Okay... stepping off my soapbox to go build another coop.

Ronald Reagan raised taxes when it was clear that the budget projections he used to justify the 1981 tax cut were wildly optimistic. In response, Reagan agreed to a sharp roll back of his tax cuts. Over all, the 1982 tax increase was the largest tax increase in history, substantially larger than the 1993 tax increase under Bill Clinton.

Thats it play the numbers, he first cut taxes. then increased it back.

not counting that Clinton had the largest in history.



Let see, my boss could cut my pay 1.00 per hour then next year give me 2.00 per hour increased. WOW he just gave me 2.00 hr raise, NOT in fact it was just 1.00 increased.

My whole point of this thread, I spend my life supporting Amercan Company, and now this Clunker deals, just took my taxes dollars and gave it to 3 overseas company. Readyn to do alot more too.


Like I said, dont belong to either dom. or rep. party.

Kills me all the people who cant see across party lines.


Did feel alot safer when Bush and Reagan, were in Office.
Carter fail during the Iran thing, Clinton did nothing when the twin towers were attack(same people, that did the 911 attack).HAVE YOU FORGOT. Sure Beak cant see it he has Only Democrat eyes.

Have seen many good leaders on both side. Some people will alway only see one side.

Bad enought they keep raising my taxes, but to give it to help oversea company.

Not happy with GM either putting another shift on in plants outside our borders.
