Give her oranges and nuts, tell her santa used to give those out to kids along time ago , so all your gifts must be clothes because that's what santa used to bring. That's cheer her right up We did christmas on christmas eve last year because my husband had to work on christmas, didn't tell them and they were so surprised.

Well, I wouldn't put coal into any one's stocking, unless that person deserved that lump of coal.

My Dad had gotten (seriously), a bundle of switches and a lump of coal from "Santa" (his parents) - (my Grandparents) one year because he had been that naughty.

As a "joke" ?!? For any child who believes Santa is real - and every child is told about that bundle of switches/lump of coal is given if you are bad, from Santa - that WOULD NOT be a - - "joke" !!!

Get a shoe box and fill it with charcoal, Now wrap the box and put "From: Santa" on it...

No he doesn't believe in Santa. Yes, jokes are very common at our places and no one will be mad at us.

MY oldest boy wrapped his younger brothers gifts and put them in a big box and wrapped it ...then he thought he only got one gift ( because he was bad!) while everyone else got lots...lol! He was mad until we made him open the big box!
