So for my coop that is being built right now, I used spran-urithanie deck coating to water-poof it. Its drying now.... Its clear and it says it works great for water, temps, sun, wear-and tear (walking).
What I would like to know is, should i put something over it, like an exterior latex paint? Thanks!!

I don't think paint would stick to the urethane. You might want to think of vinyl siding, Kinda cheap, easy to work with. Thats what usually goes over waferboard sheathing.

As of late I have had very bad luck painting OSB. I build bird houses and the ones I make with flat roofs were weathered and I thought I would give them a coat of good paint to make them last longer. turns out the paint made the wood hold water and it turned to wet paper machete! it crumbled in my hands this spring after the winter here in Michigan. I had to replace about 50 and burn the remains of the ones that rotted. I suggest covering the osb with a secondary coat like a shingle or siding. whatever you do the material has to breath so the wood can dry out.

Paint over poly never works especially when done on a exterior application. When ever you use osb on the exterior it will pay in the long run to cover it with something designed for the exterior. You could even use a T1-11, or any 4' x 8' type siding instead of osb.

Thanks for all the suggestions, but the OSB is not the siding, i got artificial siding for that

(sorry, should have specified that)

The OSB is just for the floor, and it will have a heavy layer of shavings on it, It will be protected from the weather.
So far i have...
2 layers of SPRAN-urithans
2 layers of rubber roof sealer
1 layer of exterior latex stain

Should I add more layers, or cover it with something? thanks!

I hope you didn't put down the spar urethane first. I don't think anything will stick to it properly. You should have just went with the rubberized roof coat by itself.

Why not just spray it with Kilz then paint it with a good exterior paint? That is what I did over the roof of our coop. I've never applied spar over OSB but I would think with a coat of shellac for a sealer/primer you would be ok. Zinseer makes a sealer that works great.

I should have read the post more...Scuff the poly you applied then finish with shellac or kilz.
