cobwebs? in my new bag of start and grow

I just bought a new bag of start and grow yesterday. I fed my chicks and guineas late afternoon. When I went to feed this morning, I noticed cobwebs/? in the feed. Has anyone else experienced this? I only ask, because while I was away on vacation last week, my friend was feeding my baby chicks and baby guinea keets from a different bag, but said she saw the same thing in that bag. My keets were only 3 days old. Every single keet died, but all the chicks are fine. Any ideas? I don't want my baby chicks to die.

Think I would take it back to the store you bought it from with your receipt for a refund.
