I find it hard to believe that you got the ONLY sick chicks. Hmmm? Anyway, I thought bleach killed everything!! I wonder if oxine works on it? It does cost much more, and may not gain anything. We have not been mixing chicks of different ages, but I can see why that would be a bad practice. Dang, I learn something new every time I log on. So cool!

Interesting. Maybe someone will chime in that knows. I cannot believe that I got the only infected chicks either. I fervently wish that she would medicate the resto of the chicks in that brooder. You are so right, I believe that it is the adding of chicks into the same brooder without dis infecting between that could make the difference.

UPDATE They are flying a little!

There has been no bloody poop yesterday nor this morning. They were put on Corid at 1pm on Thursday. It looks like they will make it unless this thing comes back and I don't know enough about that.
