Cocci or vent gleent please help!

I read somewhere that one of the causes of vent gleet was contamination in the food or water. It could even be from the water supply if you are on well water or treated water(chlorine tablets, etc.,). I found that keeping the patient supplied with fresh, bottled water helped reduce the symptoms. However, I had to keep them separated from the rest of the flock to do so.
I'm not saying that this is most likely the cause because I do not yet know all of the symptoms of gleet or cocci. I hope this tip at least narrows down the problem and that your chick gets better!
 
I have never seen a chick with vent gleet, it is more common in laying hens.
 
She's currently pecking at her food, but unfortunately if she's unable to keep water down I doubt she'll be able to process her grit. I've exhausted all my avenues this evening and am just hoping she makes it until tomorrow when I'll be able to talk to some local poultry farmers. Thanks everyone for your help. Gleet just means liquid coming from vent and it can be from coccidiosis, worms, bacteria, giardia, or yeast. In a four week old chick I would guess it's probably coccidiosis or a bacterial infection.

Keep her in a warm brooder tonight, 80-85 degrees f is ideal.
 
Unfortunately she passed away sometime through the night. I found her this morning.. at least she's no longer suffering.
