Cocci question! Please help!

Woohoo! Kinkajou seems to be on the road to recovery! Today is day 4 of treatment with Corid and her poop seems to have cleared. FYI I did raise her dosage to 1.5 teaspoons per gallon per recommendations I found in another forum because on day 2 I continued to see "intestinal lining" and what was certainly blood although not as severe as examples have shown. I also didn't wait to treat for worms as I wanted to get it out of the way and cover all possibilities as well be able to retreat in the same time frame. Treated with Febendazole as well as Praziquantel. Her feathers have much improved after poultry dusting and are growing back from what must have been mites. Planning to retreat for mites in 7 day increments and as needed. Tomorrow is day 5 on Corid, so August 2nd she will get 3 more days of Corid and another round of worming. Then when that is done, a week later she will get vitamins and probiotics and hopefully be well enough to soon rejoin the flock. Thanks for your help Meep! And I hope this educates others as well.

I've definitely taken a liking to this girl due to all of our 1 on 1 time and am glad she's getting better. Probably the mites/being under the weather, but she is the most calm and least flighty chicken ever. Just hangin' out!
