Coccidia questions?

You may be just fine with 1 tsp per gallon. Many people used to use 1/2 tsp per gallon as treatment, and had success. So, if it were me I would just finish up either 5 or 7 days, and then watch for any signs of recurrence.
Lol, don't even get me started on that one.

Many people still do think that 1/2 teaspoon powder (270mg) is the same as two teaspoons of the liquid (946mg).

I de-worm with Safguard and use amprolium at the same time. Neither has the other listed as a drug interaction. Think about it, if it were a problem, people would say the you can't feed medicated feed and worm, right?

Very true!! I will get some and do them :) I guess I will go 2 more days and then lower the dose. I want to do whats right. The reason I even questioned just the 5 days was I saw someone had said a vet told them to do 5 days and then come back within 2 weeks and give 3 days. Just like with anything there is always 100 ways!! I just hate wasting so much since it said to mix new each day and my young groups are in 3 groups rt now and even my bigger groups, no one drinks even half of what I put out in 24 hrs. I know I could just get a 1/2 gallon container and do just half but easy to just get the teaspoon per gallon. what age do you de worm your young chicks? Sorry for so many questions and thank you again!
