Coccidiose in broody hatched chick?

So my Cochin hatched 4 chicks then she stepped on one...

This morning I checked for pasty bum and there was what I believed was a speck of blood.
I am going to tsc today I can see what they have but I am leaving for Utah tommarow and my dad is taking care of them...

So I need replies.

Powder Corid or Liquid will both work the same, for treating Cocci.

We had to put the chick down she was hurting to bad she had to be inside with an ecoglow and a fake chick for company.
She was depressed and wouldn't walk drink or eat.

Sorry to hear that. It is hard to have to make those decisions, but preventing unnecessary suffering is always the right thing to do.

Keeping Corid on hand will help save a life in the future, should you have another chick fall ill like this one did.
Cocci can kill pretty fast.
Her not eating and drinking probably meant the Cocci had already "taken over".
