coccidiosis in chicken? Bloody poop! Please help!

I have a cuckoo maran hen who has been pooping lots of blood! And one of my EE hens has been acting out of the ordinary and has a slightly droopy tail. I gave them some Corid but is there anything else I can do? They are drinking but the EEs crop has not emptyed overnight and she didn’t want to eat even scratch. The maran has been eating but pooping a lot of blood. To make matters worse the maran has been broody for 3 months and before when I tried to break her she acted sick and lethargic but I put her in a smaller pen and I hope I can break her now.

The blood points to coccidiosis almost overwhelmingly. Don't be hesitant about doing a full round of Corid in the water, two teaspoon liquid Corid to one gallon water for five days in addition to a Corid drench of .1ml per pound of body weight undiluted Corid liquid directly into the beak once a day for three days.

It's crucial to do a followup round for another five days after one week rest. Any developing oocytes need to be zapped or chickens will continue to suffer from this.

Since so much blood is present, I suggest also giving a sulfa antibiotic to target secondary bacterial infection of the inflamed intestines. Call around to pet stores or pigeon supply shops for pigeon sulfa. Or ask a vet.
