Four or five out of my thirty-two week-old chicks have poo clumps stuck to their bottoms. The poo is not bloody, but as a precaution, I think I should treat all of them for coccidiosis. The chicks affected are different breeds and from different hatcheries. I read amprolium is recommended for treatment. I have a gallon of Corid, a 9.6% solution amprolium labeled for cattle that is intended to be diluted in water. The label only gives dosage for cattle. Does anyone know the proper dosage for chicks of the 9.6% strength?

I was instructed to give 9 ml/cc of 9.6% corid per gallon for 7 days. This was from a poultry vet.

Thank you to everyone for your help!

FYI: The volume of 1 milliliter (mL) is identical to 1 cubic centimeter (cc).
1 teaspoon is 4.92892159 milliliters.
Metrificated values:
1/4 teaspoon = 1.25 ml
1/2 teaspoon = 2.5 ml
3/4 teaspoon = 3.75 ml
1 teaspoon = 5 ml
1 and 1/2 teaspoon = 7.5 ml
1 tablespoon = 15 ml
